Does the job

A bit on the pricey side but if you are wanting to use the new hard drives in your ever reliable Mac Pro - this is what you need.

A must have for the new generation hard Drives.

The OWC Sleds for the the cMP are a must for anyone looking at replacing a disk with the new generation Hard Drives. Well recommended.

Mac Pro upgrade

I recently purchased an HGST HE 12TB drive for my Mac 5,1 tower.
The hole spacings on the new drive were different so I needed an updated drive sled. The OWC product from MAcFixit fitted perfectly.
I also purchased 3 SSD drive holders for my 5,1 from MacFixit.
I now have three, 4TB SSDs and the 12TB HDD for backup.
Not bad for an 8 year old machine.

Does what it says on the tin

I bought this sled to put an 8 gig hard drive, one with the new form factor top screw placements, into my mid-2010 Mac Pro. It works fine.
