Easy to install and great improvement in speed

This 250GB SSD was installed into a 2012 15" MacBook Pro. It was very easy to install and after reinstalling MacOS Catalina and restoring the data it worked with about 20x speed improvement for the Mac. So even though its 10 years old it still a very usable and quick laptop.

Oh my gosh it's fast......

If you have any "spinning media" still in your Mac, then I would heartedly recommend upgrading to a solid state drive. When you first see that it formats in about 5 seconds, you know the whole thing will be faster all around. Brings modern day performance back to older iMac's.
Just wish Apple made it easier to get inside to change the drive!
