I have a new old MacBook now

The top case was made to perfection. No regrets about the purchase. I followed the installation steps on the iFixit.com site. The iFixit Mako precision tool kit was very handy. Though I was nervous at the start but made it after just over 3 hours instead of 1 hour.

Macfixit again provide quality product (top case) and great service (advice).

This product matched my expectations for build quality. I appreciate the polite probing from staff to confirm I understood the skills, knowledge and experience required to undertake this difficult installation. With detailed installation notes (ifixit.com), plenty of time, a clear desk and the right specialised tools (previously purchased) I successfully installed the top case to restore full functionality to the built-in keyboard on a 2011 MacBook Pro 13â€
